What’s the buzzzzz at the Library this summer? Reading, of course! “Catch the Reading Bug @ your library” during the Yuma County Library District’s Summer Reading Program! Kids can bring their library card to any branch library to register. (Registrations will be accepted until Saturday, July 5th.) Complete a “Book Bingo” card by reading 5 chapter books of different genres and win prizes! (Children who are not reading on their own can complete a Book Bingo record consisting of 25 picture books.) Summer reading participants are also invited to attend six weeks of exciting programs, including story times, visits from zoo and desert animals, gardening programs, and Worm Drive: The Musical!
It’s easy for teens and adults to participate too! All you need is your library card. Read as few or as many books as you like, and fill out a brief book review form for each title. Reviews will be placed in a raffle for weekly drawings for gift certificates. Swarm to your library today or visit www.yumalibrary.org for more information!
“Catch the Reading Bug” was funded by the Yuma Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Arizona Community Foundation (Sturges Charitable Trust Fund).
