Accident At 16th Street And Pacific Ave. After Driver Runs Red Light

Red-Stop-light-trafficThe Yuma Police Department says no major injuries were reported following a rush hour accident at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 16th Street Thursday. 

Police say a 51-year-old male, driving westbound on 16th Street in a blue Honda Odyssey van, failed to stop for a red light at Pacific Avenue and collided with a white 2003 Ford F-150 truck driven by a 65-year-old male as he travelled northbound on Pacific Avenue. 

The driver of the truck was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the van declined treatment at the scene.
