Attempted Homicide At Gas Station

The Yuma Police Department says they are looking into an alleged attempted stabbing incident from late Wednesday night. Police say the incident occurred in the 1800 block of South Fourth Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 47 year old male bleeding from multiple stab wounds. The victim was filling fuel tanks at the Chevron station at 1825 South Fourth Avenue. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid 20s, bald, standing about five-foot, six-inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and black shorts and left in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
