Woman Arrested For Heroin At El Centro Checkpoint


United States Border Patrol agents from the El Centro sector arrested a woman with heroin taped to her body Wednesday. Officers say the 20 year old was driving through a checkpoint near Salton City when canines detected drugs in her car. More Arrests On Rodriguez Death


More arrests have been made in the death of 14 year old Mary Rodriguez. The Yuma Police Department says they earlier Monday arrested 23 year old Edgar Borquez at his home in the 8100 block of Yavapai Lane. Teacher Faces Molestation Charges


A Somerton school teacher appeared in court on Tuesday. 34 year old Gabriel Macias is charged with one count of child molestation. He was arrested on Saturday after a search of his residence.
