Woman Arrested At Border With Over $750,000 In Cash

Border Patrol agents say a 24-year-old woman was arrested Monday morning after her car was searched at the U.S.-Mexico border.  Officers say they found over $750,000 worth of cash hidden in the vehicle’s gas tank at the Downtown Calexico Port of Entry.  The cash and driver were turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. CHP Arrest Prison Escapee In Winterhaven

The California Highway Patrol in Winterhaven arrested a prison escapee Saturday afternoon.  Police say they were advised of a stolen 2001 Chevrolet Silverado near Blythe earlier in the day.  CHP officers later caught up with the vehicle on State Route 78.  The vehicle was stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint and police were able to apprehend the suspect, identified as ... Investigation Continues In Deadly Crash That Killed Dept. Of Corrections Employee

Police Search For Missing San Luis Teen

Wellton Station Border Patrol Agents Arrest Six Drug Smugglers

The United States Border Patrol’s Wellton Station arrested six Mexican nationals on Saturday.  They were located on Interstate-Eight near the 98 mile marker, smuggling 270-pounds of marijuana valued at over $135,000.  The men and the drugs were turned over to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
