Fallen Arizona Serviceman Honored

The Department of Defense says a sailor from Arizona has died after being wounded while serving in Afghanistan. Pentagon officials announced Thursday that 31-year-old Chief Petty Officer Christian Michael Pike of Peoria died Wednesday in Germany.  They say he died as a result of combat-related injuries sustained Sunday while conducting stability operations in Maiwand District, Afghanistan.  Pike was assigned to ... Children Invited To Submit Poster Designs For Yuma Housing Festival

Arizona’s Unemployment Rate Rises

Less Arizona Home Owners Forced To Foreclose

Yuma Named One Of The Most Secure Border Sectors In Nation

Fugitive Convicted Of Sexual Assault Arrested At Nogales Port Of Entry

A Jordanian national was arrested at the Nogales Port of Entry on Tuesday.  Officials say Al Momani was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in Illinois for sexual assault from an incident in 2009.   Momani fled the area and was found guilty and given a $1-million bond in Illinois.  In early 2011, officials say they found his location in Mexico.  ...
