Matadors Win Final Home Game Of The Regular Season


The Arizona Western College Matadors won in their final regular season game at the House on Saturday beating Phoenix College 67-to-56.  Carlos Perez led the way with 20 points and Marvin Whitt and Darien Walker each added eleven.  The Lady Matadors meanwhile edged Phoenix College 58-to-56 Saturday.  Samantha Wallace scored 28 and Imari Lyons added 16.  Both teams play Tuesday ... Los Angeles Lakers Owner Dies


Jerry Buss the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers has died.  He was 79.  Buss was suffering from “an undisclosed form of cancer,” CBS2 (KCBS) News in Los Angeles had previously confirmed. The immediate cause of death is Kidney Failure. Read More »

Yuma Man Apprehended After Pointing Gun At Officer

Infant Body Found At Recycling Plant


Workers at the Somerton Recycling Plant made a grisly discovery on Thursday.  Police say workers discovered the body of an infant as they were going through different recyclables at the plant.  KYMA TV says they are withholding information about the infant pending an autopsy report.   Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 928-722-7357. Valley View Medical Center To Hold Job Fair

CenturyLink Workers Move Closer To A Strike
