School District Opens Up New High School


Starting next school year, the Gasden Elementary School District plans to offer instruction up to the 12th grade.  The Yuma Sun is reporting the school will be known as the Gasden University Preparation High School. Experts say Arizona's decision to withhold welfare checks because of the federal government shutdown appears to make it the only state to cut off funding for the very poor because of the budget crisis.
