Gasoline prices for Arizona have hit a five-month high. Officials with AAA Arizona says that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.74 a gallon. That is more than 11 cents higher than last week and a rise of 56-cents since January.
This week's national average is $3.78 a gallon, up by less than a penny from last week.
Analysts say refinery maintenance and the higher cost of crude oil have kept gasoline prices high so far this year. Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.53 a gallon while Yuma has the highest at $3.86 a gallon.
