Border Patrol Rescue Heat Stricken Woman

The El Centro Sector Border Patrol continues to rescue illegal aliens from triple digit temperatures and unforgiving desert conditions.  The latest incident occurred Sunday, August 11 when Border Patrol Agents tracked a group of four illegal aliens north of the border, whom were later arrested approximately eight miles west of Calexico.  Officials say a 40 year old woman was suffering from heat related injuries. Emergency medical services were notified, and the woman was provided treatment by responding emergency medical technicians. She was then transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center.

After being released, it was determined the female was a citizen of Uruguay, illegally present in the United States and was transported to the El Centro Border Patrol station for processing and further evaluation.
