Arpaio’s Sling Auctioned Off For Charity

Woman Arrested With Over 8 Pounds Of Meth Hidden In Car


On Friday, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Indio Station apprehended a suspected narcotics smuggler at the Highway 86 checkpoint and seized over eight-pounds of methamphetamine.  A 22-year-old female driver approached the Border Patrol checkpoint located between Westmorland and Salton City and the vehicle she was driving was referred to secondary inspection where agents discovered 16 packages ... Boarder Patrol Agents Apprehend Pot Smugglers Near Gila Bend


United States Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Sector arrested two drug smugglers and seized 226 pounds of marijuana Friday.  The drugs have an estimated street value of $113,000.  Agents working near Gila Bend arrested the two Mexican nationals carrying bundles of marijuana.  Both men were turned over to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for prosecution. Elderly Pedestrian Killed While Crossing Street Friday Night


Yuma Police say one person is dead following a traffic accident on Friday night.  Police say the accident occurred at Eighth Street and 12th Avenue when a 30-year-old female driver was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina East Bound on Eighth Street. Border Patrol Arrests Drug Smugglers Traveling Through Skull Canyon


United States Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Sector arrested five drug smugglers and seized 304 pounds of marijuana late last week.  The drugs have an estimated street value of $152,000.  Wednesday, agents apprehended three Mexican nationals smuggling marijuana through Skull Canyon, southwest of Gila Bend.  The men were carrying 239-pounds of the drug.  Thursday, agents arrested two more men ...
