Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested After Narcotics Search

Sex Offender Relocates In Yuma

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says a registered sex offender has relocated recently.  Police say 55-year-old Joseph Stephen Hurtado is now living at 2678 West Clifford Lane in Yuma.  He is described as a male, standing five-foot, nine-inches, weighing 206 pounds with black hair and black eyes.  He is a Level Three sex offender, meaning he is a high risk ... Woman Found With Gunshot Wound Dies

‚ÄčOn Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at approximately 8:05 a.m., Yuma Police Officers responded to the 100 block S.10th Avenue in reference to shots fired. An adult female was found with a gunshot wound. Marines Welcomed Home

About 200 Marines were welcomed home to the Marine Core Air Station in Yuma Monday.  The Marines from VMA311 were at sea for the last eight months in an undercover mission.  Most of the time, they could not tell their families where they were located. Arias Returns To Phoenix Jail To Await Sentencing

Memorial Service For DPS Officer Tim Huffman To Be Held Wednesday

Memorial services for fallen Department of Public Safety Officer Tim Huffman are scheduled for Wednesday morning at 9am at the Yuma Civic Center.  Huffman was killed last week while investigating an accident on Interstate-Eight near Wellton.  33-year-old Jorge Espinoza was arrested and charged on 21 counts.  He posted a $200,000 bond and was released.  He is expected to appear in ...
