City Of Yuma Teams Up For Green Week

The City of Yuma welcomes staff members from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, A-DOT Adopt a Highway Programs and Keep Arizona Beautiful as the agencies team up to provide outreach and information on environmental issues to area residents during Arizona Green Week, going on through Friday.
City of Yuma Solid Waste Superintendent Martin Agundez and staff will discuss the City’s curbside recycling program at two events this week. The City, A-DOT Adopt a Highway Programs and KAZB will conduct an Environmental Road Show today from 9am to 11am in Meeting Room B of the Yuma Main Library at 2951 South 21st Drive. The event aims to assist southwest Arizona residents with a range of resources to address potential environmental problems. It is free to attend.
