Congressman Paul Gosar Votes In Favor Of Health Exchange Security And Transparency Act

United States Congressman Paul Gosar voted in favor of the Health Exchange Security and Transparency Act Friday, legislation that requires the Department of Health and Human Services to notify within two business days any individual whose personal information was stolen or unlawfully accessed through an ObamaCare exchange. The bill passed the House of Representatives by a bipartisan vote of 291-to-122. After the vote, Representative Gosar stated quote – "Millions of Americans were required to enter their personal information on a website that the Obama Administration knew was insecure and was not fully tested. Now these people are at risk for identity theft. While I will continue to fight for a full repeal of ObamaCare, this bill is a step toward protecting Americans from one of the many harmful effects of ObamaCare." – unquote.
