More information has come to light about a recent investigation involving a State Senator and a school. We brought you information last week, which involved State Senator Don Shooter, allegedly going to his grandson’s school. He was later asked to leave school property after barging into his grandson’s classroom asking to speak to the teacher.
Now, we have received eyewitness statements as to what went on March 22nd at the EOC Charter School. At least four eyewitnesses filed reports with the Yuma Police Department describing how Shooter went in to Danielle Munoz’s classroom, demanding to speak with her, after other school officials tried to detain him.
He indicated he was not happy with the way his grandson was being instructed and that he deserved better. He also stated he had a lot of influence in Yuma.
Another teacher was asked to call 9-1-1 and Shooter apparently left the campus.
KBLU has tried to contact Shooter, but he has not responded to our emails.
