Man Assaulted And Robbed After Accepting Car Ride

policeTwo suspects are being sought by police after an alleged armed robbery. 

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says a 28-year-old man accepted a ride Sunday afternoon near the corner of Avenue “B” and 32nd Street. 

The suspects drove the victim to another area on Highway 95 and Madonna Road.  The victim was told to get out of the car.  He was then assaulted and his wallet, shoes and baseball cap were then taken from him.

The suspects were driving a 2000, white colored model Hyundai.  Police say the suspects are described as two Hispanic men. 

One may be in his mid-20’s about six-foot, one-inch tall and 200 pounds.  He was wearing a mustache, had tattoos on his chest and arms and dressed in a white t-shirt and black baseball cap.   

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 30’s, also about six-foot, one-inch tall and 200 pounds with a mustache, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, and also wearing a black baseball cap. 

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office or their nearest law enforcement agency.
