A man accused of shooting another person in May, 2012 has been sentenced to the Arizona State Prison system for his crime.
Carlos Arellano shot 47-year-old Guss Kasper at the Walnut Avenue Trailer Park in Yuma, paralyzing Kasper.
Arellano appeared in court Wednesday and pled guilty to the shooting. He was sentenced to five-years on the Attempted Second Degree Murder charge.
