Motorcyclist Caught Speeding At 114 MPH

Glendale police say they clocked a motorcyclist going 114 mph in a construction zone Wednesday morning.

The motorcyclist was late for work. Police arrested 21 year old Troy Johnson on several misdemeanor traffic charges. Police used a speed measuring device to see how fast Johnson was going.

When Johnson was told he was going 85 mph over the speed limit, the motorcyclist had no recollection of ever going that fast. Johnson was wearing a helmet, but police say he was not licensed to ride a motorcycle.
