The roundup of Yuma High “Criminals” has been set for the weekend of Oct 31 through Nov 2, 2008, to include the annual gridiron clash of Yuma High School and its crosstown rival, Kofa High School. Other events tentatively scheduled include a parade, a barbeque, a block party, YHS Open House and a memorial for departed classmates.
Those who want to help with any aspect of the celebration can call Yuma High School library by calling 928-502-5222 or sending an email to Linda (Biltz) Collins, lcollins@yumaed.org. The library staff also is collecting memorabilia from all eras of the school’s history.
Full details for the weekend are still being worked out by members of the planning committee, dubbed The Parole Board.
