Police On The Lookout For Two Armed Robbers

The Yuma Police Department is on the lookout for two suspects who allegedly robbed an area motel Wednesday morning. Police say two Hispanic males walked into the Oak Tree Inn on South Sunridge Drive early Wednesday morning and brandished a knife at the clerk. They then used the same knife to remove a room card reader, left the motel out the front door of the check in office and fled the scene in a white 2010 or 2011 four door Chevrolet Silverado. Both suspects are described as about 22-years-old, standing about five-foot, six-inches tall and weighing about 150-pounds. One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and the second suspect was wearing a white sweater and a blue bandana over his face. The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with information about this case to please call Detective Melissa Norred at 928-373-4686 or the Yuma Police Department 928-373-4700 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous. If information leads to an arrest you may receive up to a $1000 cash reward.
