Rep. Grijalva Visits Yuma; Wants Unemployment Benefits Extended


United States Representative Raul Grijalva talked about two key issues during a press conference at his district office in Somerton Saturday – unemployment benefits and raising the minimum wage to ten-ten an hour. Grijalva says federal unemployment benefits ran out on December 28th 2013 and he hopes to see those extended.
 
Grijalva says he wants economic change for Yuma County. He adds that he sees major growth potential in the transportation, manufacturing, and trade sectors.
