San Luis Mayor Works To Keep SENTRI Lane Open 24 Hours A Day

SentriA reserved car lane for motorists crossing into Mexico or the United States at the San Luis crossing may be open 24 hours a day before long.  The Yuma Sun says mayors in San Luis and San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico want to see the SENTRI lane open 24 hours a day.  They are currently open from 6am to 10pm daily.

San Luis Mayor Gerardo Sanchez says keeping the lanes open 24 hours a day would be a great benefit to his city and he is working with San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico mayor Leonardo Guillen.

A corresponding lane in Mexico would have to be installed in order for the project to work.
