Things could get sticky for Arizona Senator Don Shooter of Yuma. The Yuma Sun is reporting that several are planning to file charges against Shooter, relating to an incident that occurred last month at a charter school.
Police reports indicate that Shooter went to the EOC Charter School on March 22nd, demanding to see his grandson’s teacher since he was unhappy with the quality of education his grandson was receiving.
Two individuals originally filed charges against Shooter. Now, two staff members and three students have also said they will pursue charges.
Altogether, nine misdemeanor charges have been filed against Shooter. Students in the classroom have told prosecutors they feared for the safety of their teachers the day Shooter walked into the classroom.
