Senator Shooter Reaches Deal In School Intrusion Case

A settlement has been reached between the Yuma City prosecutor and Senator Don Shooter. The deferred prosecution agreement was reached after consultation and approval by the representatives of the EOC Charter School and the Yuma Police Department. The terms require Shooter to pay $1500 restitution to EOC and another $1,000 to the City of Yuma. This dismisses the charges, but with the condition that the charges may be reinstated within the next year if Shooter violates any criminal law.
