Sheriff’s Office To Hold Meetings About Sex Offenders In Your Community

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office will be holding two sex offender meetings to inform the public better about how they handle such offenders in the community. The first meeting is scheduled for October 1st at the Foothills Library and the following week on October 7th at the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend the meetings. The meetings will allow citizens to ask law enforcement questions regarding sex offenders and to better understand the laws in the State of Arizona that apply to sex offenders in Yuma County.
