Two Men Arrested After Trying To Smuggle Marijuana Over The Border

Two men were arrested by Border Patrol agents at the Calexico station on Friday night. 

Officials say the two unidentified Mexican Nationals climbed over the border fence near the Imperial Sand Dunes, then tried to hide near Interstate-Eight. 

When they were found, officials say the pair were in the alleged possession of two packages of marijuana, valued at over $73,000.  The suspects and marijuana were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
