Yuma Police Look To Question Two In Wednesday Night Shooting

Martinez-RodriguezThe Yuma Police Department is investigating what they believe is an attempted homicide.  Police say Wednesday night, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 600 block of East 25th Street.

Officers discovered a 36-year-old female that was shot.  The suspects fled before officers arrived to the scene.  The victim was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment and later flown to a hospital in Phoenix.  The victim’s name is not being released at this time. 

Police are currently looking for 40-year-old Misty Ann Martinez and 32-year-old Miguel Rodriguez, also known as Capone for questioning.   Martinez is described as a Hispanic Female, 4’9” tall, with a heavy build, blonde hair and green eyes.  Rodriguez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’7” tall, approximately 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

They should be considered armed and dangerous.  Police ask if they are located or you know their whereabouts, do not approach them but call 9-1-1.
